About this tool
PNGs are the usual format for screenshots, slides and designs, and a PDF is the easiest way to share several of them as one document. PNG images are embedded losslessly, so text in screenshots stays crisp.
Mixed batch? You can add JPGs alongside PNGs. For photos only, see JPG to PDF. To handle any mix of image types, Image to PDF does the same job.
Good to know
- Transparent areas are kept. They show as the page colour behind the image (white in most viewers).
- Large PNG screenshots can make big PDFs. Use Compress PDF if you must keep it small.
- Up to 60 images per PDF.
PNG to PDF: frequently asked questions
Does PNG to PDF keep transparency?
Yes. Transparent pixels stay transparent inside the PDF, and most viewers show them on white.
Can I put many PNGs in one PDF?
Yes. Add them all, arrange the order and create one PDF with one image per page.
Why is my PDF so large?
PNG is a lossless format, so high-resolution screenshots are heavy. Resize or compress them first, or use the PDF compressor.
