Your files are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.

How to use Rotate Image

  1. Add your images. The thumbnails show a live preview.
  2. Choose the rotation (90 right, 180, 90 left) and, if needed, flip horizontally or vertically.
  3. Press Apply and save and download the results.

About this tool

Photos from scanners and some cameras end up sideways, and screenshots or selfies sometimes need mirroring. The preview thumbnails show exactly what you will get before you save anything.

The same settings are applied to every image you add, which is handy for a batch of scans that all came out the same way. For PDFs use Rotate PDF. To cut away unwanted edges after rotating, try Crop Image.

Good to know

  • JPG and WebP are re-saved at 95% quality, so there is a very small quality cost. PNG stays lossless.
  • Up to 50 images at once.

Rotate Image: frequently asked questions

Can I rotate several photos at once?

Yes. Add them all and the same rotation is applied to each one.

What is the difference between flip and rotate?

Rotating turns the picture around. Flipping mirrors it, left to right or top to bottom.

Will the file quality drop?

Only very slightly for JPG and WebP, because the image is saved again. PNG is lossless.
