How to use Resize Image
- Add one or more images.
- Choose Pixels (type a width and/or height), Percent, or a Preset such as Instagram post or YouTube thumbnail.
- Press Resize and download the results.
About this tool
Resizing solves three common problems: a photo too big to upload, a picture the wrong shape for a platform, and a batch that needs the same width. With "Keep aspect ratio" on, typing just a width is enough. The height follows automatically.
Presets can either fit the whole picture inside the frame or fill and crop it to the exact size. After resizing, you can lower the file size further with Compress Image, or trim the composition with Crop Image.
Good to know
- Making an image larger cannot add detail. It will look softer than the original.
- Maximum output size is 16,384 px per side.
- The original file is never changed. You download a new copy.
